A Shelton resident who owns a Bridgeport flower shop has received the Connecticut Florists Association’s (CFA) annual Marketing Award.
Lisa Fede, owner of Fruits & Flowers, was recognized for her extensive use of social media and promotions to increase her floral sales. In her business, she uses e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pintrest and Linked In.
The CFA also praised Fede for her shop’s involvement in donating flowers to many fund-raising events in the greater Bridgeport area. Fruits & Flowers recently was involved with the Roses for Veterans, a Memorial Day event.
