September 4 to 7 will mark Gerbera week, Dutch flower auction cooperative FloraHolland has announced. The special promotional week will include a number of events that draw attention to the ‘African Daisy’ and its newest cultivars in particular.
The promotional week for the popular flower will feature the introduction of all the new season’s gerbera varieties. This will take place in a number of different ways, including presentations at various FloraHolland establishments (Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk and Rijnsburg) as well as the publication of a new promotional folder ‘FleurPrimeur Gerbera 2012’.
A ‘Meet & Greet’ will also take place at the Aalsmeer and Naaldwijk locations of FloraHolland during the Gerbera week. Growers and buyers can use the occasion to liaison, as well as view, assess and comment on the entire new gerbera assortment.
