Splash Icestar was created by crossbreeding various different pot chrysanthemum varieties. This type of hybridization often produces reasonably predictable flower forms and colours. With Splash Icestar things couldn’t have been more different. Its surprising fanciful blooms caused quite a stir. This product was cultivated exceptionally well, which means that you can enjoy this special plant everywhere in your home.
Splash Icestar is an easy plant. The plant can be placed in a bright spot or in semi shade, as long as it does get some light during the day. There is no need for fertilizer; the grower has already taken care of that. Water the plant regularly and preferably keep the compost moist. However, don’t leave stagnant water in the pot because that is too much of a good thing for Splash Icestar.
When the leaves wilt, your plant had dried out. We advise you to water the plant again. In most cases, you will notice that the plant does recover. However, allowing the plant to dry out does not promote its shelf life, so do try to avoid this!
Outdoor use in summer
On warm days (constant temperature of >12° C) and in dry weather, Splash Icestar can also be put out on the balcony or patio. In that case, be sure to use an ornamental pot. Don’t plant it in the soil; it doesn’t like that.
