Loblaws’ Program To Recycle Old Plastic Gardening Containers Is Drawing Customers

Some of the most common questions we get here at Green Life are about recycling. Are plastic bags really recycled? Can clothes be recycled? What about parchment paper?

As recycling rates continue to increase in the Montreal region and people become more aware about our growing garbage problem, there's a desire to try to keep our trash from going to landfills.

Unfortunately, recycling programs in Quebec can't handle all of our waste. To try to deal with that problem, the provincial government is considering a new law that would put the onus on manufacturers to deal with the packaging that comes with their products.
