Sumner, WA – McConkey Company has acquired the rPET manufacturing capabilities of Kentucky-based Five Boro Plastics, Inc.
The acquisition enables McConkey to increase their product offerings of rEarth™ containers made from recycled water bottles. This expansion of McConkey’s rPET capabilities will make McConkey the leading horticultural rPET manufacturer in North America. Five Boro will maintain their recycling and regrind operations.
Additionally, through the acquisition of Five Boro’s horticultural division, Rick McMahon will join the rEarth™ sales team. Rick brings 30 years of horticultural knowledge in greenhouse and plastic manufacturing.
