Plantscape Industry Expo Turning 21 In Las Vegas

Ukiah, CA – PIA, The Plantscape Industry Alliance, will hold Plantscape Industry Expo, the national interior plantscape conference and trade show, August 30 – Sept. 1, 2011 at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa, Las Vegas, NV.

Plantscape Industry Expo, formerly known as CalScape Expo, specializes in helping interiorscape companies grow their businesses. Conference sessions will inspire attendees with new ideas & techniques for every area of business.

“The Leader within You,” is the topic for keynote Captain Mark Hoog. Growing your business and your team takes leadership and Hoog will discuss how to rediscover and act upon lifelong passions to unlock a unique leadership role and style. In his breakout session Hoog will turn the leadership focus industry-wide as he explores leadership in industry organizations and creating the future for the interiorscape industry.

The Exhibitor Showcase brings attendees up to date on the latest products and services.

It spotlights products used in interior plantscape; living wall; patio; rooftop; holiday and special event; green roof; and floral installations. It is unique in the depth and range of products, foliage, containers, and specialty items presented by exhibitors.

Meeting & learning from peer-professionals is extremely valuable to attendees and this year’s networking events include the Welcome Party in the Exhibitor Showcase, Lunch with TED, Showcase Buffet Lunch, Awards Gala, industry tour, and more. Las Vegas’ world class LEED certified City Center is the destination for this year’s behind-the-scenes tour. Interiorscape industry leaders and the work of outstanding interiorscape professionals will be celebrated at the Interior Plantscape Hall of Fame and Awards Gala.

The convention fun never stops and new this year are “Designs for a Digital World – People’s choice Digital Design Contest” and “Bowling for Green Plants” joining the ever popular “Color Bowl Design Contest” and “People’s Choice Booth Contest.” The “Bowling for Green Plants” benefit will aid the mission of Green Plants for Green Buildings. Additional “Turning 21 in Las Vegas” festivities celebrating the convention’s 21years of service to the interiorscape industry are sure to add to the excitement & networking.
