Stephen Armellini, Senior Vice President for Armellini Express Lines in Miami has been named the Chairman of the Local Committee for the 2010 WF&FSA Conference to be held at the Doral in Miami November 3-5, 2010.
Armellini will help promote and inform local Miami companies, specifically importers, of the WF&FSA Conference and encourage their attendance and participation.
"Stephen has been actively soliciting support for the WF&FSA Conference among floral companies based in Miami," said WF&FSA President Gary Doran, Kennicott Brothers, and Chicago, IL. "We appreciate and support his efforts. As Local Committee Chairman for the WF&FSA Conference, Stephen will work with local importers to help maximize the number of wholesale distributors who attend the Conference and make sure that all who attend enjoy their stay. We want to capitalize on the fact that we are holding the conference in the heart of the Miami flower industry."
"I have long been a proponent of holding an annual meeting for wholesale distributors in Miami," said Stephen. "When I heard what WF&FSA was planning and heard that the meeting is scheduled at the Doral in Miami for five consecutive years I wanted to support it to the greatest extent possible. I am confident that the Conference will draw the greatest number of wholesalers that we have seen at one event in many years."
