WF&FSA was represented at the Special Event Conference 2011 in Las Vegas last week when presenter Nancy Kitchen, AIFD, wowed the event planners with a magnificent display of floral options for events, across price ranges.
The Special Event (TSE) is the largest tradeshow and conference in the world for event professionals. WF&FSA's program was billed as: Floral Fusion – Blending Beauty and the Event Experience. Nancy showed how flowers can create immediate and dramatic responses at events. She noted guests are compelled to touch, smell and let their gaze drift back to floral décor. She explored how to enhance profitability and creative options with design vision. She designed hot tablescapes and buffets trends for all to see. Her message to event planners was to sell more than décor through the use of floral, and most importantly, the critical role wholesalers play in their planning.
