New Oxford, PA – Plainville Farms turkey and FreeBird chicken are now available nationally through UNFI. The products being distributed include a selection of Plainville Farms frozen turkeys, a variety of marinated FreeBird chicken products, and 11 SKUs of precooked frozen healthy options made from Plainville Farms turkey and FreeBird chicken. The frozen retail line also includes gluten-free, soy-free and whole grain breaded FreeBird chicken products .
Plainville Farms turkeys and FreeBird chickens are always all-natural and antibiotic-free. They are humanely raised on family farms, where they 100% vegetarian-fed, with absolutely no animal byproducts or antibiotics. Both FreeBird and Plainville are third-party audited to assure that they meet strict animal welfare standards.

The Plainville Farms products being distributed by UNFI are: whole frozen ABF turkeys, a semi-boneless whole turkey, and a semi-boneless split turkey breast, as well as 2 SKUS of fully-cooked turkey sausage breakfast links for the freezer case.
FreeBird chicken products include the full line of FreeBird marinated whole wogs, marinated boneless skinless breast, and marinated wings, as well as 9 SKUS of fully-cooked items including nuggets, patties, wings and strips. All made with all-natural ingredients.
Eco-friendly packaging is a feature of both brands. Many skus are offered in trayless packaging, which seals in freshness and reduces their environmental footprint; while the frozen line is in 100% recycled packaging.
