A new industry is coming to Le Mars. North American Co-Pack Iowa, which may eventually employ as many as 100 people, will be producing pork products in the community.
Bret Peterson, CFO of North American Co-Pack, confirmed the decision this week.
"We are coming to town," he said in a phone interview Monday.
Company leaders anticipate the business will create roughly 50 or more jobs in the first year and about 100 long term, he added.
