SALINAS, CA – Church Brothers Farms, a leading fresh produce farming/shipping company and grower-owned processor, True Leaf Farms, recently made additions to its sales department team.
Lisa Dennis was promoted to assistant sales manager. In her new role, Dennis is responsible for supporting in-house sales staff and reports to Tom Bramers, sales manager.
Dennis has been with the company 10 years and has been in the produce industry 20 years having started in the business in her family’s transportation company before working at Ocean Mist Farms, Dole and Colorful Harvest.
Another produce industry veteran, Bobby Nunes, joins the Church Brothers Farms sales team with several years’ experience in the produce industry including work at Ippolito International, Newstar Fresh Foods, Duda Farm Fresh Foods, River Ranch Fresh Foods, Tanimura & Antle and Dole Fresh Vegetables.
Nunes holds a bachelor’s of science degree from Kansas State University.
“As our business expands, we need team members who understand the produce industry and can provide the level of customer service we deliver,” Jeff Church, vice president of sales, said. “Lisa has been a big part of our growth and we anticipate Bobby being a part of our future.”
