Fruit Patch Launches New Berry Program

DINUBA, CA (April 14, 2010) – Fruit Patch Inc. announced today that it has added California grown berries to 2010 offering. “We are delighted that the Willems Family chose Fruit Patch to market its proprietary variety Ruby Boysen, Blueberries and Blackberries” said Scott Wallace, President and CEO of Fruit Patch. “Including the berries in our product line-up is consistent with our goal of providing a broad range of high quality fruit to our customers” Mr. Wallace further states.

 

According to Sheri Mierau, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Fruit Patch, “the sales team has been presenting the berry program during our marketing trips and is beginning to book orders now.”

Blueberries will start around April 29th with volume around May 10th. Ruby Boysen will start May 10th and run for about 20 days. The anticipated availability timeframe for Blackberries is June 5th through July 4th.
