Georgia Blueberry Commission Unveils First-Ever Website

Waycross, GA – The Georgia Blueberry Commission proudly unveils the first-ever website, www.georgiablueberries.org, in time for the start of the season. The website showcases the new logo along with exciting recipes, photos, nutritional facts and information on why blueberries from Georgia are so sweet.

Navigating the site is made easy with the six main tabs (Home, Recipe, News, General Info, Nutrition and About Us) on the top of the home page. Visitors will also be able to view an in-flight promotional video with Delta Airlines, the latest Sweet Georgia Blues News, recipes and Did You Know facts.

“We are proud of the high quality and taste of sweet Georgia blueberries. It’s exciting to officially have our own website. It shows that Georgia blueberries have a bright future,” notes Joe Cornelius, chairman of the Georgia Blueberry Commission.

About the Georgia Blueberry Commission

In 2010, the Georgia Department of Agriculture formed the Georgia Blueberry Commission to support research, education and promotion programs on behalf of the state’s growers. Boasting more than 14,000 acres dedicated to growing blueberries, Georgia claims the longest season in the U.S. lasting from late April through the end of July to enjoy fresh Georgia Blueberries – our very own “Sweet Georgia Blues.”
