Gourmet Trading Company Oregon Blueberry Season To Start In Early July

LOS ANGELES – As its California blueberry season winds down Gourmet Trading Company prepares for the start of blueberry season in Oregon. The season is set to begin on schedule after the 4th of July. Gourmet Trading Company is expecting an abundant Oregon blueberry crop through the end of September.

Oregon is a fairly new growing region for the company who first started the program in 2009. On its third year in Oregon Gourmet Trading Company expects higher production.  Gourmet Trading Company Vice President of Procurement, Scott Hulsey stated “The current crop in Oregon looks to be a strong one. We are excited about the possibilities for the fruit and market this season. ”

Gourmet Trading Company Oregon blueberries will be available in the Gourmet Trading Company and Green Giant® Fresh label in the following packs: 12×4.4oz, 12x6oz, 8x18oz, 12x1pint, 12x24oz, and 12x32oz. The company has Point of Sale materials available to retailers this season.
