Lowes Foods Partners With Local CSA

In a continuing effort to support local agriculture, Lowes Foods is partnering with Triad Farm To Table Co-op to bring local produce from small farms to selected stores. The “Carolina Crate” is a box of mixed produce available on Saturday mornings on a first come first serve basis. Triad Farm to Table is Forsyth County based CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) made up of local consumers and thirty plus local farmers from Forsyth and surrounding counties.

Area stores which will be selling the Carolina Crate boxes are Clemmons, Robinhood Rd. and Oliver’s Crossing. Stores in Greensboro, Oak Ridge and Jamestown are also participating. Also partnering in the program is On Demand Delivery Specialists who will be delivering to most of the stores.

The co-op will continue its weekly Wednesday deliveries to subscribers at pick-up sites throughout the county. For more information, contact info@triadfarm2table.com.
