Sinclair Systems Launches Hand-Labeling System

Fresno, CA, Oct 13, 2010 – Addressing a true market need for an easy to use, ergonomic hand labeler, Sinclair has developed a Hand Labeling System, complete with a unique tethered mechanism that features both mobility and an ultra-lightweight applicator. The Sinclair Hand Labeling System (HLS) is ideal for labeling any small lots packed in trays or loose, including tomatoes, apples, citrus and exotics such as bananas and mangos.

The new Sinclair HLS will be commercially available beginning November 22nd and will be demonstrated in the Sinclair Fresh Summit booth #1342 during the upcoming Fresh Summit show in Orlando, FL.

“The overwhelming response and interest at our demonstration of the Sinclair HLS at the AsiaFruit Logistica show in Hong Kong last month validated the market’s need for an efficient, food grade labeling system which is simple and affordable”, stated Rick Goddard, senior vice president of sales & marketing. “The Sinclair HLS provides our customers with the flexibility to efficiently label the full range of package configurations and can be adapted to integrate with just about any work station in our customers' operations,” said Goddard.

The Sinclair Hand Labeling System can apply a wide variety of Sinclair label sizes, including those with the unique Tab-Lift™ feature. It also holds standard size label rolls which reduces down time from reloading that is so common with conventional hand labeler guns. The ergonomic applicator is easy on the hand and is durable even in the most rugged packing environments.

Sinclair manufactures micro thin polyethylene food-safe produce labels that are FDA and EU compliant. The unique Sinclair Tab-Lift™ feature allows fruit labels to be removed quickly and easily— and all in one piece.
