Eastern Poultry and Food Distributors, a national company based in Ponte Vedra Beach, has purchased a majority stake in a local seafood business.
Eastern Poultry announced on Friday its purchase of Seafood Sales and Service, a family-owned and operated business founded in 2000.
The new entity, Eastern Seafood Distributors LLC, will continue to operate as Seafood Sales and Service and WISCO Seafood, according to a company news release. The company’s co-founder, David Bielski, will become a minority owner along with Palmetto Capital, a private equity firm based in Ponte Vedra Beach.
