H-E-B Takes on Two Multimillion-Dollar Building Projects in West Houston

H-E-B Grocery Co. has received building permits for two multimillion-dollar construction projects in West Houston, one for a distribution center project and the other for a store renovation.

The first permit was issued to Atlanta-based Griffco Design Build for work to be done at the site of H-E-B’s distribution center at 4625 Windfern Road. The permit clears the way for the construction of a 99,831-square-foot, hi-pile warehouse addition and/or remodel.

The permit lists the estimated cost of the construction at $12.5 million.
