Harris Teeter Supermarkets Inc. (NYSE:HTSI) wants to help you pick the perfect bottle of wine.
The Matthews-based grocery chain is working with Hello Vino, a company that provides wine applications for mobile phones. Through that relationship, Harris Teeter has added a feature called Wine Assistant to its website and its mobile app, called ht mobile.
“We’re excited to continue to introduce new features to ht mobile to make it more convenient than ever for our customers to shop at Harris Teeter,” says Catherine Becker, communication manager for the grocery chain.
The option will recommend wine pairings for any dish or special occasion. It also will sort wines by a shopper’s personal taste preferences. In addition, Harris Teeter’s section of wines can be searched.
