Hy-Vee Inc. has confirmed that its second Twin Cities grocery store will be in Oakdale.
The West Des Moines, Iowa-based grocery retailer plans to hire 450 people for the store, it said in a news release.
Hy-Vee said it worked with city officials "for several months to secure" the city-owned property at Interstate 694 and 10th Street North. It expects to submit initial build plans to city officials in August. An opening has not yet been scheduled.
