Natural Grocers Seeks To Raise Millions With IPO

Lakewood-based Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage plans to raise as much as $115 million in an initial public offering.

The retailer of natural and organic groceries and dietary supplements said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that proceeds from the offering would be used to pay existing debt and provide working capital.

A portion of the shares will be issued and sold by Natural Grocers and a portion will be sold by certain stockholders, the company said in the filing.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range have not been determined.
