Milwaukee-based grocer Roundy's Inc. said Wednesday that Don Hamblen, a group vice president and chief marketing officer, is no longer with the company.
James Hyland, vice president of investor relations for the company, said in a statement that Hamblen is no longer with Roundy's after a restructuring that has occurred in conjunction with the company's departure from the Twin Cities market in Minnesota.
"Mr. Hamblen is no longer with the company. Concurrent with the sale of the Rainbow stores (in Minnesota), the company has been reviewing opportunities to right-size its business in order to gain efficiencies," Hyland said in the statement. "As part of this review, it was determined that our operational structure would be more effective if we combined the marketing and merchandising groups under one umbrella. We wish Mr. Hamblen well in his future endeavors."
