Rumors say Walmart is looking at Pleasanton and Hayward as possible locations for stand-alone Walmart Neighborhood Market grocery stores, the Contra Costa Times reports.
Building plans have been submitted for two sites in those cities without the name of the proposed supermarket.
One of the sites is the former Nob Hill supermarket on Pleasanton's Santa Rita Road.
