Norway’s new Fisheries and Seafood Minister Odd Emil Ingebrigtsen says he will consider issuing quick permissions to fish farmers to increase the maximum level of biomass permitted.
This means that they will be able to leave the fish in the sea for a longer period of time.
The goal is to preserve Norwegian food, Ingebrigtsen says.
