NFI Members Report Success At Boston Seafood Show

WASHINGTON, DC – Companies who exhibited on the floor of the International Boston Seafood Show say 2013 was a success.

“We’ve probably had the best show we’ve had in a long time,” said Alan Kahn, Vice President of Marketing for Clear Springs Foods. “We’ve seen a lot of customers. We’ve had a lot of good opportunities… the traffic has been outstanding.”

Justin Childs works to help put on the show and noted that, “2013 actually marks the largest Boston Seafood Show that Diversified Business Communications has ever produced.”

Handy’s senior Vice President, Carol Haltaman, called the show “fantastic” adding that, “we’ve exhibited here for 29 years and it never disappoints us, great place to introduce new products.”

With more than 1,000 exhibitors from 46 different countries the show featured every aspect of the seafood community.

Next year the show will be rebranded Seafood Expo North America.  The European Seafood Exposition in Brussels is next and runs from April 23 to the 25.

For more than 60 years, the National Fisheries Institute (NFI) and its members have provided American families with the variety of sustainable seafood essential to a healthy diet. For more information visit: www.AboutSeafood.com.
