Certified American Grown, the cut flower and foliage industry association focused on advocacy and strategic promotion, is working on Capitol Hill this week to advocate for the domestic industry with elected officials and agency representatives.  The annual Washington, DC Fly-in will be held in a hybrid manner this year with both in-person appointments and virtual visits.

Certified American Grown (CAG), the voice of American cut flower and foliage farmers is honored to receive the recognition and support of Congressional leaders for July’s celebration of American Grown Flowers and Foliage Month.  Bi-partisan resolutions recognizing the contributions of American farms has been introduced in both the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives.

Certified American Grown Lauds Introduction of the American Grown Act in House of Representatives

Certified American Grown (CAG), the voice of American cut flower and foliage farmers is excited to announce the introduction of the “American Grown Act.” The Act has been introduced by Alaska Representative Don Young. Co-sponsors from throughout the country have joined the author in supporting the work to showcase and highlight American grown cut flowers and foliage growers.
