Summer Programs Shine With California Avocados

Much of the California avocado season falls in the period of summer holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day, making locally/domestically grown California avocados a great fit for summer promotions. California Avocado Commission (CAC) customized programs are underway with retailers and foodservice operators, and more promotions are planned throughout the summer.

California Avocados Put California on The Menu Projections Show a Crop of Nearly 370M Pounds in 2020

Recent research on “California avocados and U.S. foodservice patrons” conducted by Menu Matters finds that more than 70% of restaurant patrons nationwide identify avocados as a component in a dish if “California” is part of the menu item name or description.
