MO Firm Recalls Chicken Salad Products For Misbranding & Undeclared Allergen

Walker’s Food Products Co., a North Kansas City, Mo., establishment, is recalling approximately 2,446 pounds of chicken salad products because of misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.  The products are formulated with a soy protein concentrate, a known allergen, which was not properly declared on the labels.
