Imperial Dade Adds Scale in Northeast, Acquires Green Streets USA, Inc.

Imperial Dade, a leading distributor of foodservice packaging supplies and janitorial supplies, today announced the acquisition of Green Streets USA, Inc. (“Green Streets” or the “Company”). The transaction represents the 63rd acquisition for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, Chairman and CEO of Imperial Dade, respectively. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Trucco Expanding Distribution Center in New Jersey

Trucco, the globally sourced and nationwide distributor of fresh produce, is thrilled to announce the expansion of its distribution center located in Vineland, New Jersey. The company has received approval from city planners to add an additional 67,000 square feet to the building located at 2440 North Mill Road, where Trucco has been operating a sustainable, state-of-the-art facility for packing, storage, and distribution of its products, primarily kiwifruit, citrus, and blueberries , for the past five years.

FDA Issues Report Highlighting Salmonella Outbreak in Cantaloupe During Summer of 2022

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a report on its investigation of the Salmonella Typhimurium outbreak that caused 87 reported illnesses and 32 hospitalizations in the U.S. between July and September 2022. The FDA worked with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state partners to investigate the outbreak, which was linked through epidemiology and traceback to cantaloupe grown in Southwest Indiana during the summer of 2022.
