Foodies Get Cheesy Degree

New York, NY – Foodies can now earn a cheesy degree fast from one New York university.

Murray’s Cheese Shop in NYC is giving folks a crash course in their favorite dairy product with Cheese U, a school located on the premises where students learn all things cheese.

Teachers Liz Thorpe and Sascha Ingram say the curriculum is “intense, but delicious,” because it requires lots of studying, reading, and memorization paired along with nibbling on yummy cheeses.

As part of the three-day, 15-hour course, students are blindfolded and asked to identify various fromages based on smell and taste.

They also learn about the geographical origins, history, and aging process of many cheeses.
