Delaware Valley Floral Group Opens 2nd New England Distribution Center

On February 18, 2013, Delaware Valley Floral Group (DVFG) announced the opening of a second Distribution Center within its New England sales region. The 8,000 square foot facility is located at 577 D Hartford Turnpike, in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. This newest Distribution Center is strategically located to maintain and improve service level commitments to DVFG’s growing New England customer base, while also positioning capabilities to expand further geographically throughout the New England Region.

Tillamook Voted ‘America’s Best’ At US Championship Cheese Contest

Tillamook County Creamery Association received first place recognition for their Vintage White Extra Sharp Cheddar, Sharp Yellow Cheddar and Colby Jack at the 17th biennial United States Championship Cheese Contest® held in Green Bay, Wisconsin this week. Adding to their collection of first place titles and among heightened competition, all three cheeses were voted ‘America’s Best’ in their respective categories for superior taste and quality.

Sartori’s Extra-Aged Asiago Recognized As ‘Best Asiago’ In Country

Sartori Cheese captured the 'Best Asiago' title for their Reserve Extra-Aged Asiago at this year's U.S. Championship Cheese Contest.  Sartori finished the competition with a total of 7 awards including "Best of Class" for their Espresso BellaVitano®, two Second Place awards for SarVecchio® Parmesan and Pastorale Blend®, and a Third Place award for their Merlot BellaVitano.

Marieke Mature Gouda Wins United States Championship Cheese Title

Marieke Penterman, of Holland’s Family Cheese, Thorp, Wis., took top honors out of 1,702 entries from 30 states for her Marieke Mature Gouda, aged six to nine months. Out of a possible 100 points, Marieke Gouda scored 98.31in the final round of judging, during which judges re-evaluated the top 16 cheeses at an evening gala to determine the overall champion.
