ABA: Is Tray Loss Costing Your Company $$$?

Tray Loss Demo Added to Logistics Meeting Agenda – Register Now for Oct. 4-5 Meeting!

According to a series of surveys over the last 10 years, tray loss costs the wholesale baking industry approximately $100 million annually. Add dairy and the soft drink industry, and that total jumps to $300 million. ABA has been working with its members and industry partners on solutions to this serious problem and significant progress is being made.

ABA member Alpha Baking has been particularly focused on this issue and, over the last eight months, has been testing a tray loss tracking system in one of its facilities. As part of ABA's upcoming Logistics Committee Meeting in Chicago, a tour and demonstration of the system will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct. 4. See links to meeting information below:
