Fireking Baking Moves From Weymouth, MA To Bigger Site In Braintree

When Fireking Baking Co. was started in Hingham nearly 17 years ago, its founders opened it in part as a way to provide baked goods for Tosca, their nearby restaurant.

Now, Fireking is providing baked goods for restaurants from Maine to Florida, and to places as far away as Utah.

Fireking, which eventually dropped its retail sales and became solely a wholesale baking business, is moving into a space in Braintree that’s nearly four times the size of its Weymouth location to help keep up with the rising demand for its products.

Greg Acerra, who owns Fireking with his Tosca partners Ed Kane and Arthur DeCarli, expects to fully occupy the new Fireking location on Campanelli Drive in Braintree by sometime in the first week of June.
