Kendall will be the first Florida location for a national retail bakery chain specializing in bundt cakes.
The Nothing Bundt Cakes store at Kendallgate Shopping Center, 12030 SW 88th St., will open Friday with special events all weekend. This is the 50th location for the Las Vegas-based chain, which specializes in the nostalgic favorite in a variety of flavors and sizes.
On Friday, the store will donate 20 percent of all proceeds to Camillus House. The first 50 customers to make a purchase when the store opens at 9 a.m. Saturday will receive free bundtlets (single-serving cakes) for a year.
