Bipartisan House & Senate Group Tackling Duplicative & Wasteful Catfish Inspection Program

The Senate and House are taking on duplicative and wasteful government spending with legislation to amend the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act to repeal a redundant program involving the inspection and grading of catfish. Congresswomen Vicky Hartzler (MO-4) and Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA) introduced H.R. 1313 in the House along with 23 other members of Congress, and  Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) introduced S. 632 along with 8 other Senators to end this duplicative program.
