Boar's Head Brand Announces 2013 College Scholarship Winners

Sarasota, FL – Boar’s Head Provisions Co., Inc. and Frank Brunckhorst Co., LLC. are pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 Boar’s Head Sons & Daughters College Scholarship Program. This program serves to recognize and reward children or grandchildren of Boar’s Head Brand employees and its affiliated companies for their academic achievements, leadership and community involvement. 

“We are committed to fostering the academic development and future success of the next generation,” said RuthAnn LaMore, Director of Communications for Boar’s Head Brand. “We’re honored to assist these ten students in their scholastic pursuits.”

Ten talented high school seniors were selected to receive grants of $1,000 each to go towards their academic pursuits. Of these ten winners, two local students from Sarasota, Florida received grants: Stephen Sawayda and Luke Habermehl.

To be eligible for a Boar’s Head Sons & Daughters College Scholarship, applicants must be a child or grandchild of a Boar’s Head Brand employee or one its affiliated companies and intend to enroll in college beginning fall 2013.
