Jarlsberg Cheese Kicks Off Its Year-Long “Cheese by Numbers” Social Giveaway Series

DARIEN, Conn.– Since 1956 Jarlsberg® Cheese has transformed meals into cherished moments with its mild, mellow, nutty flavor. You can make any cheese occasion better with Jarlsberg® — it’s an iconic cheese that bridges generations and taste buds.  Jarlsberg® is launching a year-long giveaway series, kicking off with Valentine’s Day, that centers on delightful cheese plates made in collaboration with Marissa Mullen, the founder of “That Cheese Plate” and “Cheese By Numbers.” 

Marissa created 6 custom Jarlsberg®cheese plate concepts; each plate has a “cheese by numbers” illustration that makes it easy to re-create at home, with numbered placements for the cheese, charcuterie, garnish, and special pairings. Giveaway winners receive gift baskets containing everything they need to re-create these memorable cheese plates.

The giveaway series kicked off with That “Just for Bae” gift basket for Valentine’s Day. Other giveaway events will be held for Easter (That Brunch Vibes Only Plate), Mother’s Day (That Slay All Day Plate), Norway Day (That Happy Birthday Plate), Thanksgiving (That Friendsgiving Plate), and the winter holidays (That Signature Plate).

The “Just for Bae” basket includes a BOSKA Holland cheeseboard & mini cheese planer, luscious chocolate-covered strawberries, salamis, fresh bread, several fresh fruits, and more. In keeping with Valentine’s Day tradition, this beautiful plate is garnished with deep red roses. The Easter gift basket, called “Brunch Vibes Only”, will feature Jarlsberg®, nova lox, capers, mini-bagels, cherry tomatoes, and garnished with dill and yellow flowers.

Marissa’s “That Cheese Plate” account has become a viral sensation; she’s inspired thousands of people to get creative with their cheeseboards, for any and all occasions. She was recently a guest on both The Today Show and Rachael Ray to show viewers how easy it is to use her “cheese by numbers” concept to create their own fabulous boards.
