Contract Number 10,000 Signed At Plantarium

IJsselstein – At Plantarium the champagne corks zapped! While enjoying a glass of champagne, license agreement no. 10,000 was signed by both the grower Frank Stolwijk of Stolwijk Plants from Reeuwijk (www.stolwijkplants.nl) and the breeders Candy and Lloyd Traven of Peace Tree Farm LLC from Kintnersville, United States (www.peacetreefarm.com).

A unique moment because it is rare that parties from different continents are together in the same location. The contract concerns the Lavandula intermedia Phenomenal ('Niko'PBR) that was put in the spotlight during Plantarium. Visitors of the Plantipp-stand were treated with the delicious chocolate with Phenomenal that was created especially for Plantarium. Many visitors were surprised with a bunch of dried Phenomenal flowers that smell nice for a long time.

Plantipp is proud that already so many varieties of its breeders have found their way to the growers and trusts that there will be a lot of interest in Phenomenal as well. Mainly because of the good hardiness of this intermedia. In addition, Phenomenal has sturdy branches, a strong root system and a uniform growth and flowering. This beauty has very large, purple blue flowers. Pruning after the first bloom will make it flower a second time so you can enjoy this phenomenal Phenomenal from early summer until autumn.
