The 'Summertime, Gerbera time' promotion campaign started on Tuesday morning with a spontaneous action at the Centraal train station in Rotterdam. Hundreds of passersby were handed a colourful Gerbera with a reminder that summertime starts this coming weekend. The hour of sleep that Dutch residents will lose this weekend was compensated in this delightful flowery way.
Gerberas will be highlighted in different TV programmes in the near future. They will be a focus of Rob´s Large Garden Redesign on March 30, April 6 and 13, and of Coffee time on Friday, March 29, and of Life 4 You on Sunday, March 31.
Also online, these very summery flowers will be the centre of attention. In the months of April and May, social media will focus on them, and they will appear online.
In April Gerbera is also 'Flower of the Month'.
