Support Floral Industry Programs Through AFE

Alexandria, Virginia – The American Floral Endowment (AFE) is asking the floral community to consider a year-end gift to the industry this holiday season. By making a donation to AFE, you are supporting the continued success of our industry through programs and resources aimed at solving challenges and promoting opportunities in floriculture.

What Does Your Contribution Support?

For 60 years, and only through industry support, AFE has provided vital research, programs, and resources to advance the floral industry. Much of the way flowers are grown and processed today are direct results of AFE-funded research. Cold chain management, care and handling, shipping practices, and pest & disease protocols are key to the success of our industry. Industry contributions support:

  • Research to produce healthier, longer-lasting flowers and plants to boost profits for everyone. See AFE’s 60 years of research achievements here.
  • Scholarships and Internships to recruit tomorrow’s leaders and provide and hands-on training for the next generation.
  • Educational grants to provide learning opportunities and knowledge to all industry members.
  • AFE Career Center to connect job seekers and employers — providing career development tools and recruitment resources.

You can make a donation here. All donations to AFE are tax-deductible. Any donation of $60 or more given before December 31st will receive a commemorative 60th Anniversary t-shirt.We also welcome you to share your holiday giving with your networks by using our available ads and graphics here. The American Floral Endowment looks forward to continuing to support the floral industry with events, programs, research, and resources! Thank you for supporting us!
