Brian Coates was recently hired as Heeren’s new Director of Procurement in March 2016.
Brian spent 32 years with Meijer, and 28 years in the produce procurement department. He comes to Heeren with experience in virtually every category in the produce business, strong “local” connections, and the best quality standards in the industry.
His priorities are to take Heeren’s local product offerings and quality standards to the next level to assist Heeren with its growth strategy in Retail, Food Service, and Institutional channels.
