IRVING, TX – DMA Solutions, Inc. announces the launch of “Honor Your Fresh Hero”. This campaign gives fresh produce industry professionals a way to say “thank you” to the special people in their lives. In addition, campaign participants will be able to donate to Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools in honor of their fresh heroes – before, during and after United Fresh 2014.
From inspirational parents to motivational industry colleagues and career propelling mentors, DMA Solutions defines a “fresh hero” as someone that has inspired your passion for fresh produce.
“Fresh heroes seems like a fitting way for our team, and hopefully others, to express gratitude to those that have inspired a passion and appreciation for fresh produce,” said Dan’l Mackey Almy, president and CEO of DMA Solutions. “I can’t think of a better time or a better way to commemorate our fresh heroes than during United Fresh and with a donation to the salad bar campaign, a cause that our industry enthusiastically supports.”
Through this campaign, DMA Solutions hopes to raise $10,000 in donations to Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools on behalf of the industry’s fresh heroes. All fresh produce professionals are invited to participate and can do so via the three easy steps below:

- Tell us about your fresh hero, and provide a photo (optional) of him or her at http://info.dma-solutions.com/fresh-heroes now through July 4, 2014,
- Honor your hero by making a donation in their name to the Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools campaign when prompted and/or,
- Visit DMA Solutions’ booth (#1458) during United Fresh in Chicago to make a donation and take a photo with your fresh hero that will be printed and shared on social platforms.
At the conclusion of the campaign, DMA will compile each of the fresh hero stories and photographs and feature them in a tribute video commemorating the campaign. The video will be shared with all fresh produce industry members and heroes along with an announcement of the total funds raised by the campaign to support Let’s Move Salad Bars to Schools.
