Industry Veteran Brian Osborne Leads Kingston Cross Dock & Cold Storage Into Exciting New Season

IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO — Kingston Cross Dock & Cold Storage (KCD), announced that industry veteran Brian Osborne has been promoted to General Manager of the facility.  Having joined the team earlier this summer, Brian was quick to utilize his 30 years of experience in cold storage, operations, and logistics to have an immediate impact on the business.  Brian’s focus will be on implementing the numerous upgrades and improvements to the facility’s coolers, software, and food safety systems.  His role will also include business development and adding to the level of customer service offered by KCD. 

When asked about his role, Osborne commented, “With the upgrades we’re making, I am excited for the upcoming season.  Kingston has made great strides this summer with solid investments in the facility and its people.  With the team and facility improving each day, we are set for another great season at KCD.”  Osborne added, “I want to thank the solid team around me at KCD.  They have welcomed me into the fold and embraced the new developments underway.”

Brian is a well known and experienced leader, having held senior-level sales and management positions at other major produce firms, namely Southern Specialties and Carb Americas.  David Kingston, CEO of Kingston Companies, comments, “Brian has an excellent reputation and a broad wealth of knowledge in cold storage, operations, and the industry in general.  With the growth we have experienced at Kingston Cross Dock this year, Brian’s skill set are a perfect fit to ensure our operations and general customer service continue to improve.” 

Brian was born and raised in Iowa growing up on his family's farm. After serving 4 years in the USMC Brian settled in Pompano Beach in 1980 where he began working at the Pompano State Farmers Market. Brian and his wife have been happily married for 19 years and enjoy the outdoors and being near the ocean.
