Mooney Farms and Morningstar have announced a new partnership between the Mooney Family and the premium California tomato processor, Morningstar.
This new partnership, Mooney Star Dry yard will combine technologies and expertise that will bring the former Valley Sun dry yard to a new level. The new partnership will ensure Mooney Farms can continue to bring our customers the premium quality, flavor and value they have come to expect from Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomatoes for years to come. Jointly they will operate the former Valley Sun Products dry yard in Newman, California to produce a supply of Premium California sun dried tomatoes.
Mooney Star Dry Yard tomatoes are sun dried in the world’s largest and most advanced processing facility, where state of the art technology and equipment assure a product of unparalleled quality. Fenced and paved dry yards, and year around availability are just a few reasons why Bella Sun Luci is the leader in Sun Dried Tomatoes.
Due to their respective core competences, Mooney Farms will eventually absorb Valley Sun’s food service and retail commitments, while Morning Star will eventually absorb the ingredient commitments.
The Mooney Family will continue to manage all stages of production for the Bella Sun Luci line of products, Mooney Farms Premium line.
