Iselin, NJ – Allegiance Retail Services, LLC has announced the addition of Eugene (Gene) Camiolo as Category Manager – Frozen.
Gene’s 28 year career in the supermarket industry began at Pathmark in 1986. Over the next 22 years, he worked a wide variety of positions and categories, ranging from field merchandising to system administration to Dairy Buyer and then Senior Category Manager of the Dairy Division and Frozen Foods.
In 2008, Gene joined The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company in Montvale, NJ as a Senior Category Manager of GM/HBC/Grocery. Within six months, he was promoted to Director – Dairy/Frozen Foods. In 2013, Gene was promoted to his most recent position Director – GM/HBC.
