Aramark 'All-Star' Vendors Descend Upon Big Apple For 84th Mid-Summer Classic

FLUSHING, N.Y. — When Major League Baseball's All-Stars descend upon the Big Apple for the 84th Mid-Summer Classic on July 14-16, ARAMARK—the exclusive food and beverage partner of Citi Field and 10 other Major League Baseball teams—will honor its own All-Star line-up, inviting the best in-seat vendors from hometown ballparks across the country to serve fans during one of baseball's biggest nights.

This year's All-Star vendors, each representing one of ARAMARK's 11 ballparks, have displayed a standout level of dedication to customer service and a passion for serving a high volume of fans on a nightly basis. The All-Star hawkers—who will help vend the 37,000 hot dogs, 7,800 bags of peanuts and 13,700 soft pretzels ARAMARK expects to serve during the Mid-Summer Classic—have been awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City and will work the stands during the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game on July 15 and 16.

The All-Stars will also lead a "Vendors in Training" event for 100 children at the Queens Community House in Flushing, an ARAMARK Building Community partner that provides individuals and families with the tools to enrich their lives and build healthy, inclusive communities. ARAMARK has partnered with United Neighborhood Houses, parent organization of Queens Community House, since 2008 to enhance facilities and health and wellness and workforce programs.

"Our ARAMARK All-Star vendors truly understand what it means to create an unforgettable experience for fans at each of our ballparks," said Marc Bruno, President of ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment. "These employees dedicate themselves each and every game to putting their best foot forward, and ARAMARK is proud to honor them for their work during one of baseball's most important nights."

This year's All-Star vendors will be among the 2,500 ARAMARK employees who will work daily to source, prep and serve food and beverages throughout the Mid-Summer Classic events held at Citi Field.
