Salt Lake City, UT (02/23/11)– Sunflower Farmers Market, the popular full-service natural and organic grocer, is only one month away from the grand opening of its latest Salt Lake City store. More “serious food at silly prices” will enter the market on March 16, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. The new Salt Lake location is at 656 East 200 South. The grand opening day with be full of music, festivities, kids’ activities and more.
The new Salt Lake City store marks the third Sunflower location in Utah and the 33rd store overall for Sunflower Farmers Market. It also comes after an exciting year for the natural foods grocer, which earned recognition from Grocery Headquarters as the 2010 Natural/Organic Supermarket Retailer of the Year.

Salt Lake City’s grand opening festivities will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:45 a.m. to kick off the celebratory mood, with the doors opening at 7am.The grand opening day events will continue throughout the day with terrific savings in every department.
