Swiss Chalet Fine Foods Names Steven D’Onofrio as Managing Director Elizabeth, NJ – The Gellert Global Group, in coordination with Swiss Chalet Fine Foods, has appointed Steven D’Onofrio as Managing Director of their Doral, Florida headquarters. With over 20 years of food industry and management experience, Steven will elevate Swiss Chalet Fine Foods as the industry leader in providing fine food ingredients for the professional Chef and kitchen.

With a background in both the food and finance industries, Steven will offer his assets in both fields to this new position. Beginning his career at Ernst & Young and KPMG, Steven soon realized that food was his passion, and successfully graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education in 1993. For almost a decade, Steven served as Pastry Chef and Executive Pastry Chef for several major hotels and restaurants throughout New York City and California. He was also the Senior Chef Instructor at the French Culinary Institute for six years, and served as the Executive Director of the U.S. Pastry Alliance from 2000-2003.
Prior to joining the Gellert Global Group in 2012, Steven served as the National Sales Manager for VALRHONA USA, and the Director of Business and Product Development at Harry Wils & Company. Since his tenure at GGG, Steven has served as Senior Product Manager for Atalanta Corporation, specializing in the Grocery and Beverage departments.
Steven hails from Westchester, New York where he resides with his wife Tina and their three sons.
