GAPP Hires New Communications and Membership Coordinator

In order to continue to grow and serve the mission to increase demand for and raise awareness of Wild Alaska Pollock, the Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP) announced today that they have hired Anna Carpenter to fill the newly created GAPP Communications and Membership Coordinator position.

GAPP, High Liner Foods Get ‘Wild’ with New Alaska Wild Wings Promotion

The frozen snack aisle is about to get wildly delicious as High Liner Foods prepares a nationwide launch of its Alaska Wild Wings, a new product innovation using Wild Alaska Pollock to deliver a delicious and nutritious cravable snack to consumers. In partnership with GAPP as part of its North American Partnership Program, Alaska Wild Wings will be promoted and rolled out in club stores nationwide between July 2019 and May 2020.

Leading representatives from the Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP), NOAA Fisheries, At-Sea Processors Association and Marine Stewardship Council gathered for a briefing hosted by the Oceans Caucus Foundation (OCF) meant to highlight successful partnerships that are good for both business and America’s domestic natural resources. The briefing, held in the Russell Senate Building, was attended by Congressional staff and NGO representatives connected to the seafood industry.

The Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP) and True North Seafood announced a partnership to promote these new offerings—two of which feature Wild Alaska Pollock—as part of GAPP’s North American Partnership Program. This will be the second time that GAPP has partnered with True North Seafood under the partnership program.

GAPP, Fishpeople to Promote New, Innovative Meal Kits with Wild Alaska Pollock

As part of its North American Partnership Program, the Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP) announced recently that it will partner for the first time with Portland, Oregon-based company Fishpeople to promote their two meal kits featuring Wild Alaska Pollock. The company, founded by Duncan Berry and Kipp Baratoff, makes choosing pure, responsibly-sourced seafood both simple and wildly delicious for consumers nationwide.
