Boulder Natural Meats Recalls Chicken Distributed In Colorado

Boulder Natural Meats, a Denver, Colo., establishment, is recalling approximately 363 pounds of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts due to misbranding, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.  The product was formulated with wheat, which is declared on the product label, so all allergens are properly identified.  However, the front label states the product is gluten free.  Products with a gluten free claim may not contain wheat.

Organizers of the International Floriculture Expo have announced plans to co-locate the 2015 and 2016 editions of the floral industry’s leading education program and trade show with the United Fresh Produce Association’s United Fresh Show, starting in Chicago June 9-11, 2015 at McCormick Place. The floral and produce expos will be staged side-by-side, directly across from the Food Marketing Institute’s FMI Connect. Together, the multiple events are building Chicago into the one-stop shopping and learning center for the fresh food, floral and retail industry, serving the entire supply chain from grower through retailer.

Oregon Business Magazine announced their list of the 100 Best Green Companies to Work For in Oregon and Rogue Creamery is ranked # 3.This is the 5th consecutive year that Rogue Creamery has been ranked as one of Oregon’s 100 Best Green Companies, and the second year in a row that that the creamery has been ranked in the Top 10. Rogue Creamery recently received the SBA Director’s Impact Award for Innovation and Leadership.
